Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a good weekend overall, Saturday was relaxing and enjoyable at the Aroma Cigar Room. I tried two different house blends both produced by Francisco Almonte (owner of DBL Cigars). Then yesterday was a stay at home day after doing some morning shopping with Beth. Congrats to both Tampa Bay and Kansas City on their wins yesterday and getting to play in this year's Superbowl. Enjoy your week everyone and remember to be safe out there....... 👍

We had a good time at Schlesinger's last night, I let the guys know about Hank's passing and we all raised our cigars to our brother. Weather wise this weekend, we have a cold snap on our hands (currently 10°F with a wind chill of -7°F) as well as snow arriving sometime late Sunday evening / early Monday morning:

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday (tele-working as it's Code Red until noon tomorrow). We had a relaxing weekend, friends came over Saturday for brunch and a few drinks while we watched the beginning of the Rolex 24 live from Daytona. Weather wise, we are in a "Winter Storm Warning" according to NOAA. They are calling for a total daytime snow accumulation today of 10 to 16 inches with 3 to 5 inches tonight. It should end early tomorrow with less than one inch in total:

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's still snowing here in the Hudson Valley. So far, we got roughly 24" and I'll be going out shortly to clean off the vehicles and clear the walk and driveway for the third time. Code Red at West Point has been extended thru 1900 (7 pm) tonight which will keep all the drivers off the road and give the DPW crews more time to clean things up. Enjoy this winter blizzard if you can and be careful out there...... ☃

Good morning all, the coffee is on as usual and it's Thursday which means we'll be heading over to Schlesinger's Hudson Valley Cigars this evening. Got home from work yesterday and shoveled some more in the back, cleaned up around the barbecue grill and fire pit area. According to NOAA, the temps are suppose to get up to the upper 30s which should melt some of the snow today. I hope everyone has a great day and gets to enjoy a favorite or two...... 🍻
 
Good morning, Charlie. I hope all is well over there. Is Schlesingr's the place we held the herd when it got snowed out? We were in the parking lot, doing all the raffles, etc? That was a helluva trip for me. I was driving up there, just about 1/2 hour ahead of the snow storm. They were closing the interstate behind me and then once there, the snow dumped in!!!

Again, I hope all's well, brother. Take care and I hope to visit sooner than later.

Yes it is Floyd, February 24, 2010 was a heck of day. I was looking at the Herf event here on CP but a lot of the pictures are "X" out. Glad we moved it to the summer time...... :)

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday. We had a good weekend overall, hung out with the fellas at the Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY Saturday and then relaxed for the rest of the time at home. Congrats to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for being crowned the 2021 Superbowl Champs, it's time now for NASCAR and the Daytona 500 this coming Sunday. Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's snowing out again. According to NOAA, we should get around 3" to 6" for the day's total accumulation. Tonight is the first NASCAR race of the season, the Busch Clash at Daytona. It's a short one, only 126.35 miles and it will be raced on the Daytona Road Course. Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's Friday! We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's, a number of the regulars were there along a few new faces as well. This weekend, we have NASCAR racing at Daytona starting tonight with the Camping World truck race and ending with the Daytona 500 on Sunday. It's the biggest race weekend of the year in my opinion and kicks off the season for all to enjoy. Sunday is also Valentine's Day fellas, don't forget to get your sweetheart something special or you'll be in the dog house for sure. Enjoy the long weekend everyone, relax and smoke a favorite or two or....... :) 🇺🇲 👍

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's back to work Tuesday (tele-working). As a result of the freezing rain and sleet, West Point has been Code Red since 1700 (5 pm) last night through noon today. Our driveway is an ice skating rink but the temps will rise shortly above freezing once the sun comes out. Anyway, we had a relaxing weekend overall: spent Saturday with the fellas at Aroma Cigar Room in Monroe, NY; Beth and I watched NASCAR racing all weekend and relaxed at home. The MLB pitchers and catchers started to report to spring training which is always a sign that good things are ahead. I hope you all enjoy this Fat Tuesday and be safe as well....... :)
