Good morning everyone, the joe is brewin' and I'm headin' to the Newark Airport in a bit. I'm droppin' my wife Beth off along with our niece Dawn with her two kids. They are flyin' to Texas (Fort Hood) and then Beth will be comin' back next Tuesday. Dawn's husband is a Captain in the Army and has been in Iraq for the past 15 months and is about to come home. That's the best Christmas gift those three will have ever having her husband home and the kids to have a daddy home. Anyway, it was great hearing from you Joe and it would be great to see you and Merry again this comin' Feb and be a part of the Quad State Herf. I hope everyone has a great day and you enjoy a couple of your favorites........ :)

Having daddy home...that's a great present. Hope the reunion is everything it should be....

Good morning all, yes, the coffee has been on now for a while. We just completed the West Point Adverse Weather Conference Call and have already closed the West Point Schools and placed the post at "Code White" and will most likely change to "Code Red" once the snow starts to come down heavy which looks like will be around 10am. The prediction is 6 to 10 inches by 5 pm and then it may change to freezing rain which will turn the Hudson Valley into one huge skating rink.

Last night, my buddy Bill (Bravo Lima) and I went up to the Orange County Choppers last night and did some Christmas Shopping:

Afterwards, we ended up at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar enjoying some 5+ years aged Padrons which were great. Well, I have to go into the office to get a few things but once they call the "Code Red", I'm headin' back over the mountain to ensure that I make it home or at least back to Schlesingers :D , thank god for 4 wheel drive. Anyway, I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys it as well........ :)

Good morning all and TGIF. Got a fresh pot of joe on and being that it's Friday, I'll most likey stop at the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) for some good Army chow. Well yesterday, we were dead on calling the "Code Red" at 10:30am and closing the Post. The roads were not that bad as the county trucks were out in full force plowing and putting down salt. Before I left West Point, I did call Schlesingers Cigar Bar and they were in deed open and remained open until 5pm. A number of us hung out there the entire time and had a great time. The weather folks are calling for a Nor'Easter to hit us some time on Sunday which will most likely dunp a massive amount of snow on us and close this place down for a day or two. Either way, I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys a few of their favorites....... :)

I don't think it will be as bad as they say. 2" and everybody goes crazy nowadays.

Morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Got a bunch of running around to do today, Parumus, NJ Mall, JRs, Cigar World and so on. I'll check back in later on, you all have a great day as well....... :)

Good morning all and happy Sunday. I have a fresh pot of coffee on and I'm about to fry up some bacon to add to my omelet and toasted rye. Yesterday, I had a good shopping day and finished it off at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar with a CAO Italia Gondola. I do have to let you all know, I have had an incredable past 3 days. Thursday, I spent most of the day at Schlesinger's with some of my good friends relaxing and enjoying 10 year old aged cigars from the owner's private box while we were treated like kings. Then Friday I spent the day escorting the Shermans (Joel & Murna Sherman) and their friends from Wyoming on a private tour of West Point and all of it magic. We had a super time and enjoyed a great lunch at the Thayer Hotel and then we had a fabulous dinner party at Schlesinger's to top the night off. Here is a link that Joel is promoting to open up the eyes of America:

So far the storm has lived up to the hype. I've gotten about 6" since 5am. Let it snow. Ain't got nowhere to go.

Good morning everyone and as always, the joe is brewin'. Yesterday, I got some more Christmas shopping done, helped out my sister-in-law for a bit and then watched football for the duration of the day. It was good to see the Eagles beat the Cowboys and it's about time the Dolphins won a game. We're a week away from Xmas and I'm almost done with my shopping except for a few small items. Now it's time to wrap em' up and mail out a few boxes to friends and family. I hope all of you have a great week and don't get over whelmed with the holidays, enjoy....... :)

Good morning everyone and yes, the joe is brewin'. This afternoon I'm going back to the Newark, NJ Airport to pick up my wife Beth that has spent the past week in Texas. I'm taking the day off tomorrow like I stated Sunday and Beth and I have plans to meet the Shermans at the new location of Nat Sherman's Cigars at 42nd and 5th Avenue. We're gonna see the Christmas tree at Rockerfeller Center, have lunch at Caterina's Restaurant (Hungarian Food) which is located at 316 E 53rd St and then we'll have to stop at one of NYC's finer establishments: The Harley Davidson Cafe for a couple of cold ones. It should be a great day as the weather looks good and I know the atmosphere will be excellent. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy...... :)

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day. The coffee is on and it looks like bagels are on this morning's breakfast menu. Beth and I will be in Mid-town most of the day enjoying ourselves and relaxing when we can. I hope everyone has a super Wednesday and gets to smoke a favorite or two if the time is available........ :)

Happy Holidays!!!!!!

Good morning everyone and yes, the joe is brewin'. To give you an update, our trip to Mid-town is rescheduled for this Saturday as our day yesterday was a bit hectic, We could have made it but there were a complications which assisted in rescheduling. I know that it will be a madhouse Saturday but what the heck. I still took the day off and got a number of things done in the local area that I would have taken care of this weekend so we are actually ahead of the game. Anyway, today is Thursday so we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening enjoying a few of our favorites. If your in the area, stop on by for a cigar and if not, enjoy one anyway. Have a great day and happy holidays to all....... :)

Good morning all and TGIF. The coffee is on and I'm about to run out to the office for the last time till next Wednesday. We had a great time last night at Schlesinger's with our boss and we celibrated the one of the owners birthday (Glynna Schlesinger)

and a good buddy of ours as well, George. There was plenty of cigars, wine food and deserts for all. Also, Steve (toje) from CAO made it and it's always great to see my friend especially during the holidays and all. Well, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it........ :)

Happy Holiday!!!!

Damn, it finally stopped snowing. Looks like I'll be shoveling my roof for the first time in years. Shouldn't complain, it attracts snow bunnies to our snow covered slopes.

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday. The coffee is on and I'm about to fry up some bacon and serve up some spanish omelets and toasted rye. Beth and I have pretty much of a free day today as we have most of our holiday shopping done and very little to get ready for Christmas and the Eve. The Orange County Chopper crew have an open house today and tomorrow and I might just have to stop by one of the two days while I'm out and about:

Well it's Saturday morn here and you know how us Cole-E-Forn-yans are with a coffee shop on every corner, As my wife readies herself for work- I thought I'd say hey! My coffee will be back soon in the form of a 20 oz with three add shots, cream and 3 splendas. Anyways..... I hope you all have a great Christmas and a Happiest of New Years!

Good morning everyone and of course, the joe is brewin'. Well, today is Christmas Eve's Eve and it looks like it will be a relaxing one. I don't have much to do except maybe stop by a liquor store and pick up a few bottles of different wines and since I'll be out, a stop at Schlesinger's to enjoy a favorite cigar. I hope all of you enjoy as well and smoke a favorite........ :)

Good morning all and yes, I just put a fresh pot of coffee on. We've got Beth's sister Teresa & husband Gary comin' over this morning for breakfast which includes Belgium waffles, coffee cake, fresh fruit, etc. After that, we have college football (hopefully) and cigars in the afternoon. This evening we'll be going to midnight mass with dinner over at another Brother and sister-in-laws. Beth is one of eleven and the majority of them are in the area. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Christmas Eve and enjoys it as well...... :)

Happy Holidays to everyone!!!!!

Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas to you and your entire family. I just poured the 1st cup of coffee for the day and I'm about to cut up the kelbasi and rye bread for breakfast. We went to midnight mass last night after going over to one of Beth's brother and sister-in-laws for a big dinner. Today should be a nice and relaxing day first opening presents and then Christmas dinner over at Beth's sisters where they are having lasagna and backed ham. I wish all of you the best and that you enjoy yourselves as well........ :)

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Yesterday was another great day but I'm glad that this holiday is about over as i feel that I put on twenty pounds. I received some really nice Christmas gifts to include an authentic Yankees Jacket, a primo selection of stogies from my Secret Santa (which I'm still working on to figure out) and a number of collectible Dale Earnhardt Jr. diecast cars. I have to go into the office today as we will have a skeleton crew on hand for the next three days to take care of any emergencies that may arise. Anyway, I hope you all have a great hump day and you enjoy a favorite stogie or two if you are off....... :)
