Good News / Bad News

Good News :thumbs: - I will be home from Iraq the day after Thanksgiving (+/- a day). And this is really good news. In the last 84 months I have been away from my wife and kids for about 52 of them. It is time to spend some time at the old Casa de Tim.

Bad News - This throws a kink into Jonesy's pass, and you have no idea how sorry I am about it. First, because it screws up a great and classy idea that I was never worthy of in the first place. Second, because man, I know that I am gonna miss out on some premo sticks. In the end, I consider myself humbled that Jonesy even thought to include me in the pass to start. And as much as any of us like to be on the receiving end of some group CP lovin', I am glad to be going home.

I am still waiting on one more situation to be concluded, and this will tell me where I will be stationed after I return. As soon as I know about that I will update this thread.

Let me thank everyone in CP Land that has shown support for any and all the Troops stationed wherever they may be all over the world.

Yup. Sounds like damn good news to me. Seems to me that being home with the family on a national day of thanks beats a fistful of moldy White Owls any day.
