with all the drama going on around here lately, it refreashing to see a newbie who acts like he has more than a clue of what a botl truely is. ffopusff, welcome to cp. i have no doubt your gonna fit in just fine around here.

Your post sent me on a quest for what "it" is. I'm one step further, I think. I believe you're referring to ffopusxff. "it" at least in part, might be in his intro. Thanks, sir, for pointing that out.

Neither have I but I look at it as a good thing as well, I could be up there with Mr. Clinton... If you know what I mean.


Finally we are seeing more praise threads for good deeds versus pitch fork threads... I am enjoying this place again now that I can relax and get some good information.
 
I've recently had a dealing with ffopusxff. The transaction itself was by the book and uneventful so nothing noteworthy to report there. I do have something worth noting that occurred during the course of the communications though.

At one point, my interpretation of something he wrote read like an offer of quid pro quo. In other words, ethically suspect. And so I fired off a PM back suggesting that his words might be construed as such and that this would not be well received in this community.

He did return my message and instead of getting defensive, aggressive or obnoxious, he took the time to explain the intentions behind his words. In the end, I received what I feel to be a plausible counter-interpretation.

So, I'm saying that he exhibited the restraint, consideration and concern to make sure his intentions and communications were received in the spirit in which they were meant. For this, he gets my :thumbs: and a welcome to the community.

Keep it up.

Nicely done Marc. Personally, I haven't had any dealings with ffopusff, but it certainly is great to see a newbie accolade tossed about.

I've dealt with him on CF and here... Class act all the way. You should seen the bomb he sent me for a dam empty box! :thumbs:
 
Thanks a lot fellow brothers. I just want to say thanks for the welcome and hope to continue on here. I started on here not long ago but what you put into something is what you get out. I am not here to do anything but enjoy the fellow friendships that can be made and share a few good cigars. So light one up and toast to this great passion for the greatest relaxation method out to date. Have a good one today because some might not want to celebrate tomorrow. :):)
