Hey thanks guys! Appreciate the thoughts. Life has been a bit out of control lately and I haven't been on as much as I'd like. Work has me on OT and also traveling....the misses (Merry) and I celebrated our 25th in early March and as I type this, I'm sitting in the surgical waiting room at a local hospital waiting on the doctor to come talk to me about my mom. She's having spinal fusion surgery after many years of back problems. We were up at 3:30 am this morning, at the hospital by 5....her surgery is scheduled for 5 hours. She's facing many months of rehab...it isn't a surgery you want to have, but her quality of life was really impaired and I think she'll be better off in the long run.

In the last 2 months, I've smoked like 2 cigars. In addition to my regular job, I was remodeling a co-workers bathroom and also my own living room....nothing like having several projects going at once. It's been long days and short nights with many 14-hour weekend days. Plus I just turned 49! Hey, I'm too old for this crap!

I really enjoyed the BD wishes. I'm surfing from the surgical waiting room (free WiFi!) and Merry was looking over my shoulder. I explained who each of you were (she's even met of few of you guys!). Very cool...in times like this, it's good to have friends that are low maintenance.

Tell Merry congrats on her 25th Anniversary and she doesn't look a day over 29! So how can she be married so long????
