For those of you who might have missed the original announcement, John (@KayakinBoy) unfortunately passed away at the beginning of this year. I'm glad for this thread as it is a nice opportunity to remember him today.

Thread 'Sad news about one of our BOTLs...'

I received a message that John Crowder - known here as @KayakinBoy - passed away unexpectedly a couple of days ago. I know he hasn't been around here recently, but I'm sure that some of the guys that have been around for a while will remember him. I first met John in December of 2004. He came into the Tinder Box in Chattanooga, TN where I worked and we struck up a conversation. He told me about Cigar Pass and I'm pretty sure I joined when I got home that night. John began coming in regularly and we started hanging out pretty often. Eventually, I got him hired on at the Tinder...
