Today I helped move our hospital unit (28 patients, ranging from sick to very sick) from one floor in the south tower to another floor in the east tower. This sort of thing does not happen often and when it does, there is a ton of pre planning and a lot of organized chaos.
Well it went off today and it went well. Now that I’m done and back home, I’m able to reflect on what we did and how well it went and I’m quite pleased with what we accomplished today.
Now, a cigar on the porch in 70 degree weather.

Just got my 2531.80 back from a service at Nesbit's.

I'd kind of forgotten how much I love this watch while it was away!

It's over polished but that's why it was cheap when I originally bought it and it's not going to be a safe queen anyway so I didn't mind. This was the first expensive watch I wanted ever since the Brosnan bond movies when I was a teenager.

The bracelet is so pristine after the refresh that I haven't been able to bring myself to wear it yet because I know it'll just get all dinged up again lol. I have a few NATO straps look good with it though so that's fine, and I'm thinking about ordering a sailcloth and maybe a mesh strap as well.

Beautiful watch... great minds think alike - that was the first pricey watch that I bought years ago. It is still in my regular rotation, and is super comforable to wear.
