I have a 20 month old son myself. I am with you totally on figurados and small cigars. If you ever bid at cigarbid check out the Professor Sila Petit Coronas. They frequently go for under $15/box and are quite good. I am trying to track down a source for the FdO Shapes cigars; they have a nice little perfecto and a nice figurado very similar in shape to the Short Story. My LCS has them for $2 each, but I would rather get bundles online for less yet!
Although I have been smoking cigars for 12+ years, I had to let my first ever PAM (a Principe size) burn unattended for the better part of 15 minutes last week because my son woke up from his NAP early. I had to make him a bottle, change his diaper, get the monitor into the media room, and get Blues Clues going on the PVR before I could return to the cigar; thank goodness it was still going!
