Hi to all on CP!
Just wanted to introduce myself (since another member "chided" me on not giving an intro after I added a critique on the CAO Criollo).
You can read about me and my hobbies on the profile.
I'm currently a security force platoon leader in the Army here in California. I was intro'd to cigars by a fellow LT who got me started with Cohibas (damn great choice!). First time I experienced a real cigar! It was unlike the "other times" years before when friends would give you cheapies (in fairness, we didn't know any better) and those stogies would tend to give you a bad aftertaste, etc).
Smoking a Cohiba (red dot) was certainly a change! None of that bad aftertaste stuff. Smoooooooth! Characteristics of the smoke glided over my palette and tongue. Finish/aftertaste was great! Before you know it, I was falling headlong into "cigar love"! I made the local tobacconist one of my favorite hangouts. They just opened up a new smoking room and I can puff all I want after I purchase a time tested favorite or wanted to try something new. I also got into pipes (and had a semi-custom Meershaum built) but the cigars currently are my "smoking leading ladies".
My handle is CATMAN351 due to my fairly recent completion of a 1972 Detomaso Pantera. This is a project I'm very proud of, hence, my handle. Thanks.
