500 billion to buy lunch?!!!!!! :0
Lunch is not on many minds there these days. The masses (majority) are starving.
Here's the dilemma...as with most African countries, whoever is in power for a great length of time has also been corrupt during that time.
The longer he stays in power, the worse the corruption. It then reaches a point where the corruption is so radical, he cannot relinquish power
for fear of unveiling the skeletons in his closet. He does nor care about his people, only those closest to him wielding his power.
Intimidation is so bad during elections that people either flee the country or succumb to the madness and vote for the ruling party against
their free will. One third of Zimbabwe have fled to neighboring South Africa creating another set of problems for that country.
The ruling ZANY PF party, prior to an election, do whatever it takes to get votes. For example, they send their henchmen into the
villages to campaign. They enter the village, grab several people (if the village is lucky, sometimes it's half the village), usually kill at least one
person and hack a few limbs from others and then deliver their campaign speech, which is..."if you do not vote for Zane PF, we will return and do
the same to the entire village"
The rest of the world look on in horror and usually say things like, "you are a bad boy Robert Mugabe, we are going to throw some sanctions against
you". He and his cronies have every luxury they need, you are not going to hurt them, just the masses who, as usual, always suffer.
Unfortunately there is no oil or anything else of value in Zimbabwe and therefore, not a country you want to spend money on helping and so, you just
keep on saying, only when asked mind you, "you are a bad boy Robert Mugabe"
As I said earlier...very sad!
