Hey Kenny how about another one of those "How many DucKies am I or we going to shoot" contest??

Hunting (big game), fishing (saltwater & freshwater), camping, watching football, competitive BBQ cooking and relaxing...

How can the stock market be a hobby?

Fish

In no particular order...

Firearms- Glock G19 with a few doodads, RRA AR-15 the same.
Cars- Imports in particular, '93 RX-7 my current.
Motorcycles- Just got rid of my R6, kinda miss her.
Reading- Hunting for a good book right now actually.

And that's all that I would really consider a hobby.

Boating with the family and friends on Lake George in upstate NY. I have a 21 foot Maxum 2100 SC Cuddy with a 300HP Merc-cruiser I bought new in 2004. We like to ski tube and fish as well as anchor and hike the shoreline peaks. I smoke a lot of cigars on the boat as well. Its my favorite place to smoke and have a few beers.

This is a picture of the lake.

This is my boat.
I spend winters saving so I can afford to use the boat in the summer. I have a complete heated woodshop in my garage that I make furniture in when it's cold outside. I also shoot competitive handgun at an indoor range in the winter. Life is good, and I have a lot to be thankfull for.;)

This looks like a good oldie to wake up.

Rod is a Ham? KH6SU for me, but haven't picked up a mic in more than 10 years. My hobby is scale R/C boats. I have 2 surface craft more or less finished, and 2 submarines - one semi-kit and one scratch.
Yeah Bruce, I saw your site in your profile, that looks like fun stuff!
Good find on the old thread.

My hobbies are:
Politics
Working on cars. I used to be into big, ole Cadillacs but now I'm into Jaguars
Woodworking
Rebuilding stonewalls
Gardening
Seeing local bands in local clubs (The Fools, Velvet Elvis, Booze Brothers) and more "big time" groups like Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly.

I have an interest in model railroading but I never really follow it up. It's a big hobby to be into and I don't have the time to dedicate to it. I also dabble in the license plate collecting thing ALPCA where I'm a member but I don't do much with it.

Lately, I've been doing some research on wine and when I can, I buy some French Bordeauxs to lay down. AVB got me into the world of Single Malts  and like cigars, it's a slippery slope. :D

Well this scared me.....
I got nothing.
You alright Bdog>>>

Hobbies (barring the obvious cigar collecting/smoking):

1) concerts - was a dj in high school and college, and my love of music (mostly old rock and blues) exploded in the 80s. Favorites including the Who.

2) collecting rare concerts on audio, video, many film formats, and photos/slides (some may call this bootlegging, but thats a knee jerk reaction to what this hobby truly is). I've purchased many original master tapes of pro shot concerts and can't get enough. I have a room dedicated to this rare footage.

3) Comic books - I've been collecting since I was knee high to a grasshopper and continue to do so. Its in my blood and is a tangible link to my childhood. I just can't get enough. Favorites are Marvel comics, with some DC thrown in for good measure.

4) I play guitar/bass - and badly! used to be in a few bands for fun (and beer). Smoked my first cigar after one such gig, whilst driving through Love Canal with my cousin (the drummer in the group). Sadly, it was a Swisher Sweet

5) Dogs - I have a big heart for dogs. I have two - a 9 year old Papillon and a 14 year old husky (my wifes).

Nuff said,
Darren

Slippery indeed! One of the subs, a fully functional 6' Soviet Typhoon could cost as much as $2500 and several years to build. Archiology and anthropology are also hobbies of mine. You'll have to tell me more of stonewalls sometime. Hope the Caddy hasn't left your life entirely.

I'm a caver, that's what I do for fun. I do both horizontal and vertical caves.
I try and go once or twice a month.

I also enjoy playing poker, but that only happens a few times a year.
