How to open Heartfelt tube ?

Just use the whole tube so you know you have plenty. More is better with a humidification device especially in the winter time.

Keep in mind, if the beads were already charged (clear when you got them), then adding water might have been part of the problem.  You only want about 60-75% of the beads clear, and the others to be white.

I didn't checked if they where charged because i couldn't open the tube. But i am almost shure that they are delivered dry.....

I've been using the 65% extra large heartfelt tubes for around 4 to 5 years now.  I spray it down with a spray bottle, hold it up to the light and estimate when it appears around 3/4 of the beads are translucent. 
 
I've never had a problem with mold and the humidity in my humidor stays between 63% to 67%  rock solid during the year.
 
I don't believe it's good to saturate 100% of the beads in the tube and I surely would never open the tube.  But thats just me.

I've had tubes for years and thought they didn't come apart, lol. I just sprayed them with dw and rolled them and sprayed some more. I've had no problems. Also, you're not suppose to saturate all of them, just so you know.

I know i shouldn't saturate all of them, but i couldn't see trough the tube exactly what i was doing. After opening the tube it was much easier for me, i poured all of them on a clean plate, and dried them until 30-40% where opaque and the rest clear. Now the humidity is 65%.

TP, believe you could cut 2" bar stock with that, but who knows, Heartfelt could be using titanium impregnated plastic.
