I've been enjoying Scotch Bonnets as of late, excellent flavor and really hits the spot. Distinctly sweet, bright flavor right before the volume turns up! :cool:
 
I have ghost pepper sauce and that is some mighty hot stuff. What pepper do you have in mind? Thai? Serrano?
 
According to this chart only pepper spray and pure capciasin are hotter than ghost pepper. Pure capciasin comes with a warning label which states consume at your own risk can cause skin burns.

That chart is old, there are hotter peppers than the Ghost now, such as the Carolina Reaper.  I'm thinking this contest will be with a Ghost (Bhut Jolokia).  
 
The new hot big dog pepper is the Trinidad Scorpion Butch. or Butch T (hybrid) I have grown these over the last 2 yrs. (plants all ordered from your next of the woods Rod. CA) and good lord they are something to use caution even LOOKING at. Haha see if you can get your hands on those babies.
 
Funny thing is my love for hot peppers has grown much like my ability to withstand higher levels of "wife taunting" :D
