The 18-wheeler that carries the Red Sox' spring training equipment from Boston to Fort Myers, Fla. departs Fenway Park this morning to make the 1,467-mile trek from Yawkey Way to Edison Avenue. Pitchers and catchers report thursday. Thank God!

Is Schilling's uniform on that truck? Funny how team says all he needs is rehab and other doctors say surgery is necessary.

It's that time of year where I blindly, loyaly, foolishly think that this might finally be the year that my Royals play over .500 ball, and with a few lucky break contend in the AL Central.

Go ahead and laugh, but I've got until Mid-April before that dream is crushed. However if Meche pitches well, and Greinke finally develops as a starter, and Gordon and Butler are all they are supposed to be, and Teahan returns to form, and...............well you get the picture.
