Kitten Cannon

I can't make it past 1,000 dang it. I did vault him 99 feet in the air though.

The 45 degree strategy is flawed. Without any additional velocity, this would lead to the longest shot. However, you only reach hero distances by hitting explosives multiple times and maintaining as much horizontal velocity as possible. You need to select an elevation that gives you the best chance of hitting an explosive early with the most initial horizontal velocity.

As soon as I made that change my numbers went up substantially on my longest runs.

agreed yello, elevation 10, velocity was low, kept hitting bombs, attained 1150'

917 was my absolute best. This after using Yello's approach - low angle (15) and full throttle. Kept hitting explosives that propelled me. Without that, I routinely was getting in the 200 range at best.

Completely addictive as well. :)
