So its about the middle of Lent... My family does lent a little differently, as we give up meats for the full 6 weeks. No beef, chicken or pork until Easter Sunday. (lots of fish and seafood)

I gotta tell ya, A cigar doesnt taste as good after a Salmon filet, vs a nice juicy steak! :(

What did you guys give up- if anything?

im not religious so i dont give up anything :p. i dont know how you can go 6 weeks without meat. id never be able to do that.

Meat comes from dead animals, I thought. I guess red meat was to what he was refering.

Well, and chicken. Suddenly the correlation is gone.

I gave up buying cigars. It is a hard habit to break, but I think I will survive off the fat of the humidor. Just one credit card bill with no charges will be a positive.

it's called march madness here on campus,
for march you grow out your facial hair and leave the 'bishop' alone.
:D

as soon as you give him a good "flogging", you shave.

so yeah, lots of pent up energy in the air about now, and some shaggy chins.
on the plus side am hitting the gym more often.

the funny part is seeing guys w/ bald chins now, and they get made of.
:sign:

so yeah, gave up 'fun' for lent/march.
:(

I would love to give up lint.....
I get tiered of picking it out of my belly button........ :p
