Atuck, just telling you this to help you out... those prices are pretty high for both boxes. $17 a stick for Añejo No.55s is a lot of cash... almost double MSRP.

The other thing is that the Añejo No.55 is clearly an assembled box... there's no red ribbon around the cigars, and the "web" white paper is not present. Here's a picture for comparison's sake:

I know, but I have never seen the BOXES for any cheaper anywhere else. I have seen them goo for a lot more than that though. I've seen places to buy singles 2 at a time but I don't like messing with that too much. I know that for the most part that these sticks are pretty hard to come by so I am happy with the purchase even with the price. But everyone always trips out, "Where do you find this stuff?" I just pointed out that it is out there if you pay for it.

Yes, This I was pretty upset with. I did not even realize it until after I got it home. I think it was set up as a display box in a store. But I don't plan on selling them. Just letting them sit for many years to collect the age that I think Anejos need. Then I will smoke the $hit out of them.

The BTLs were obviously above msrp too but they were my Fuente goal. I am now done buying Fuente products for a while. $hit, Goal has been met, Humidor is full, hopefully I am done buying cigars altogether for a long while now and hopefully you wont be seeing another thread like this from me for a long time either.

Definitely the wrong guy. Atuck is the very generous guy who sends out very nice sticks to people he hardly knows. :thumbs: He is also the guy that goes the extra mile to make sure a split gets done the right way and that everyone is happy. :thumbs:

Well, my concern was that perhaps it was assembled from various single sticks, and repackaged. As long as things are in good shape, and you plan to just smoke 'em, I can't see any harm really.

Just to clarify what a "look at me" type is....I would say that posting stuff like this is like bragging, in my opinion. That is not what a true BOTL does...

I'm not impressed but if that kind of thing does it for you, by all means go right ahead. :whistling:
