Officially known as Sir Maximum Meow, Max passed on last night after a brief illness. He was almost 17 (May 4, 1993 - Jan 4, 2010) He was a good cat, friendly, loyal and always ready to purr and be petted. I'll miss him.
 
Sorry to hear AVB. We just lost our cat Roco last month. He was a 16 yrs old. He was very sick and needed to pass on due to him suffering. It was very hard on all of us. Not much fun digging a grave for pet that you spent some many good times with. I couldn't stop the tears from running down my face. It was for the best but still very hard to deal with. RIP Sir Maximum Meow.

I am really sorry to hear that! Almost 17! He must have had a great life. Its hard, but remember the life you gave him and the love he gave you. I have said this before and will say it again, they give you so much more then we could ever give them!

Condolences Ray... I have a couple of 9 year old mutts and I try not to think about loosing them but I worry every time one of them gets sick.

Sorry for you loss Ray. I'm not a cat guy but have lost pets that have been around for a long time and it ain't easy.
 
Wow. That's an old cat. Sounds like he lived a nice long comfortable life with you.

Hopefully your next cat is as good as Max sounds like he was.
