Doesn't seem to be a need to call ANYONE on being 'in on it'. Just get the facts and let the chips fall instead of posting gossip. I am all for calling anyone who welches, makes an honest mistake, makes bad P/t's, or pays up really slow on box splits and trades. Keeps the machine oiled, so to speak. Maybe I should have done a little more of that in the past. ;)

We need a poll on who has posted the stoopidest poll.

I don't care for this poll, placing names of trusted members in a poll accusing 'someone' of taking some smokes. ???



I made a mistake in a pass I was in. Something like that could have happened here.

I pulled out my takes, placed my puts in a baggie in the cooler for safe keeping and PM'd the host for verification.

Host said yes, I boxed up the pass and sent it on it's way (which was back to the host if I remember correctly).

Opened up my cool-a-dor 2 days later and laying on the top was the baggie which was supposed to be my puts. :blush:

I PM'd the host, posted in the pass thread what 'boner' I pulled, and was able to fix my screwup by sending the smokes to the host.

Not saying this is what happened here, but it could have.

Edit: Cause of a broken keyboard. I know that I wouldn't have spelled like that all by myself. :whistling:
 
WE HAVE TRULY HIT A NEW LOW! This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen! Not only have you tried to publicly out 4 different people, but you have gone as far as to post someone’s home addy and phone # without any physical evidence of kind! You my friend are a piece of crap! My opinion is that if anyone should ever be band from this site it is you! :angry2:

And as for the suspects, I didn't pick them. Texas took the picture and Jingles found it missing. Three in between. I put them all up because it's only far.

And if this the stupidest poll, then fine. I'm sorry for running it, but it sure is beginging to show on how most of you stand about scammers. ???

How do you know someone stole these? Are you definite someone is scamming? Why not get all the facts first, then pubicly hang them. Then it would be helpful to the board, but not like this.

Again, as many have said, this should have remained in the pass thread. No one has a problem calling out scammers but you should first have facts and know beyond a shadow of doubt that a person is a scammer before you call them out. You've essentially smeared 3 (or 4) reputations by posting this poll without any proof of what transpired. All we know is that 2 smokes are missing. Don't know if they were taken, misplaced, or otherwise lost. We know 3 possible places it could have happened. Those are facts. Everything else is speculation.

Ain't nobody condonin' the "stealin'" of sticks from a pass. What Joe is sayin' is that your poll SUCKS!!! And listin' folks personal info SUCKS as well. :( If you, being the self-appointed "heavy" on this one, have all of this info, call the folks involved and work it out. If ya can't get ahold of all the participants, wait a bit until you do. Askin' "opinions" on who everyone thought took the cigars is ridiculous(sp?)!

BD is the pass owner, he should decide how he wants to handle the situation. If it comes about the sticks were stolen, then call the guy out on it and we'll deal with it. Callin' 'em out before you speak with everyone may lead to a bit of egg on your face.

As for "...keepin' an eye on who I deal with next...", if you're referrin' to JoeM and SamC...good call. They ain't got no class anyway! :whistling:

Geldor, that's a great story. Not the fact that it happened to you, but it does show the possibility that things like that take place. The thing here is, before this thread, the poll, etc., it was brought to light in the pass thread and everyone at that point had plenty of time to look around to see if they were some how left behind. I even asked that if someone should find the sticks and it was accidental, just PM me and it would be done with. So far nothing.

Floyd, I've been in contact with Jingles via Phone/PM, Scott1966 via PM/chatroom, and texasaero via PM. Without making the content of these communications public, my gut feeling does point to one of these individuals but that's all it is. My own personal feeling. I've already said I wouldn't be calling anyone out without solid proof. And it doesn't look like it's coming.

Someone mentioned cohibasurfer was good at these situation :whistling:
Maybe he could come in and consult.

Exactly! It amounts to what? $20 :rolleyes: I'm not condoning the stealing of sticks, but this should have been done by the host and when all the facts were straight.

Is there any possibility that a postal worker could have swiped them, thinking that with that many smokes, no one would notice two missing...

I mean, it wouldn't be the first time a postal worker stole something.
 
I meant in no way aganist Sam or Joe, just a few others who want to brush it off and that's all they have said.
