So after months of dreading the day, it's getting way too close. We're going to be leaving the great state of MN around the 20th of July and heading back out to Colorado! We're really excited about getting back out there, and think this will be a good move for all of us. Lots more to do out there that we're into, such as climbing, skiing and kayaking, and just in general alot more folks that we have stuff in common with. Plus a much better job for my wife, which will make all of us happy. Less hours, more time at home with the family.

Of course I'm not excited about the physical process of moving, which although it's all paid for by the hospital out there, and "we don't have to lift a finger", we all know how untrue that is. There's no way in hell the movers are touching my cigars, wine, liquor and motorcycle.

But most of all, this is official notice to anyone who has my address: It's not valid anymore!!! And I have no idea what our new address is going to be yet, since we have no idea where we'll be living. House hunting trip (a little late) is in two weeks, and we're not even sure yet if we'll be buying a house and paying two mortgages until our current one sells, or if we'll just rent.

Anyways, I'll be scarce on the site pretty soon, and will look forward to getting settled and resuming life as usual...

Best of luck to you and your family Andy. I hope it goes as smooth as possible and your house sells quickly as well.

I'm happy for you, that is that you're getting out of BFE and, to somewhere closer to the mainstream. Hope your wifes job is going to be one she loves.

Good luck Andy. Moving is one of the few things I dread in life.

He's really not in BFE. We're in BFE up here!

Best of luck, Andy. I hate the actual moving part of moving, but the result is usually well worth it. Sometimes a fresh start is the best thing for the soul.

I'm glad we got to meet up at least once before you left. I'm glad your wife has found somewhere where she'll be happy.

Take care!

Best of luck with the move, Andy. I dreaded a move that was merely 1/2 hour away from my old house, but once the tast is upon you somehow you summon the energy and patience to see it through calmly and without hesitation.

See you when you get to Colorado!
Darren

Congrats on a better situation. I hope everything goes well and everyone arrives safely.

Well the move is complete, at least on the movers' end. Now I'm in my new house with at least a hundred boxes left to unpack and organize. But at least I finally found the computer and the new service is up and running! And my cigars were buried in a couple boxes that were mislabled and had sat in the sun on the driveway for the last few days. :0 Just kidding. They were packed safe and sound in a cooler and had a safe, temperature and humidity controlled journey.

Congrats on a successful move. Hopefully the family will get adjusted quickly.

Congrats, Andy! It's always a nice feeling to have everything moved. Now the real fun begins, unpacking!

Make sure you let me know your new address. I may have something for you shortly...:whistling:

Looking south I'm stuck looking at this:

Wow I hate unpacking. I've been in my new house for 5 months and we still have boxes left to unpack. At this point i say just leave 'em packed, less work the next time we move. :whistling:

Enjoy CO, I love it out there.
