Came home this evening from a holiday visit to my folks' place. Found an unexpected package from Alaska on my doorstep. A quick inspection of the surrounding area revealed no damage. Strange.
Opened with one quick pass of my trusty Kershaw, I see why the damage was so well contained:
I have seen the signature of this bomber before, but never in person. You really can't apreciate just how nefarious this material is until you start hacking away at it with your wife's best kitchen cutlery. I unearthed the warhead after about 30 minutes. Jim, at the time, I felt more like cursing you than thanking you.
Honestly though, this is my first bomb, and it was completely unexpected. It also happened to be something I've always wanted to try but hadn't ever had the opportunity. So, sincerest thanks Jim! I'll let you know when I enjoy this puppy.
