My new Cabinet

[WildBill]

Last friday my new seven-drawer cabinet arrived. In theory it should hold up to 400 cigars.

The other 2 drawers are still empty except for holding a container with beads. But I don't think that will be for long.
Tomorrow I getting some pantyhose (not to wear ) but to put around the continers with beads. Just to prevent beads rolling over the if I open one of the drawers.

Nice Humi, Wish my B&M would stock Quorum Torpedos they only stock Toro and Robustos

I had two Quorum Torpedo's and smoked one. The taste and aroma's aren't a lot different compared to the Robusto IMO. The biggest difference is the time you need to smoke one. But like I said that's my opninion and I'm not a very experienced cigar smoker yet.

Very nice humi indeed. Nice cigars as well. A few months ago I upgraded from a 100 ct to a 300 ct humi. I am now putting my pennies aside to contact aristocrat humidors for a cabinet. People aren't lying when they say you never have a big enough humidor.

That's why I posted these pictures. To make people drool over their keyboards. :laugh: :laugh:

I had bought 5 of them and smoked one this weekend. Actually they don't have to be in the humi, because the tubes are vacuum-sealed. You can really hear it sucking in air when you open the cap. Very nice sound. Very nice cigar to smoke too. It starts with a nice creamy taste with a small hint of cacao. These aroma's stay thoughout the cigar. And in the last third a light pepper appears that's building up in strength to the end, without being too spicy. When I laid it down there was about 1 1/2 inch left. This was my first Torano ever, definitely not the last one. I want to try a whole lot more from this brand.

I like them a lot too, They are my everyday smokes. Some people here in Holland complain a lot about them being plugged and not being very challenging or not complex enough for them. But hey, they are machine-made as you said and for € 1.40 a piece you don't hear me complain. At this point I smoked maybe 40 Piedras and only two were plugged. That's always better that one € 12.00 Cohiba or any other expensive cigar that is plugged. From all the reviews I have read there are a lot of CC's that have that problem. And the more expensive they are, the bigger the dissappointment.

I've read here before (many, many pages ago) guys will age them (as they still are cuban tobacco) and they taste even better! I'm tryin' real hard as I have only a year on them (so far only 1 was rolled too tight, once I massaged it, it opened up a bit) just so I can see what they were referring to. Cross yer fingers!

How is your experience with the Balmoral Royal Selection? Because I buy the Robustos quite often because of their lower price tag of 6,20 EUR over here.
And I love them very much. Of course it's not a Cohiba but still I think the flavor is quit rich yet mild and pleasant for a beginner like me.
And the price is more attracting for daily use.
I was amazed to find as little information about the cigar on this forum.

EDIT: Never mind, my bad. Just saw it is a Dominican Selection. Thought it was a red label instead of brown :blush:

I do not appreciate to be bossed around, and judging by the tone of your response to my post that's exactly what you were trying to do. So perhaps it's you who should brush up on the rules. Aha, if you ask me, I do not like the description above your avatar, in my opinion it's offensive for women, not to mention that I do not see any connection with cigars there. I read the rules before i registered my account. I didn't provide the URL to the source of my information that I posted in order to advertise this company. I did that because I needed to make my post credible. I'm not an expert on the subject of cigars, but these guys are. It just happened, that in the monthly newsletter from them the price list for their stock was included. While going through that list I found the name of cigars that I'm not familiar with, Jose L Piedra cigars. When I'm not familiar with something, but I'm interested about it, I educate myself by googling stuff up on the given subject. This is how I do things. So I googled up the info, checked some images, and while doing that, the image with humidor lead me to CigarPass site where I found the posts containing incorrect information regarding these cigars. I registered my account in order to post correct info. Now, apparently there aren't any moderators here, so what's this attitude of yours, all big and mighty and judgmental? You felt personally offended by my post or something? I do hope that other forum members aren't like you, because if they are, I made a huge and unnecessary mistake by joining this forum.

I'm glad you got that much info about me by my short little post. Your right this forum does not have moderators we are a self moderating forum and if you read the rules you would know you broke two in that single post. If I didn't point it out someone else would have. I am not bossing you around I am pointing you in the right direction if you don't want to take that info then it is your call and I wish you well. As for my member title it has nothing to do with women...
