I started a new project Monday and it represents some drastic changes.

I have been a self employed consultant for a long time and am still consulting in this project but I was brought in to this engagement by a another consulting firm. This is like a real job which I haven't had for a long time ???

Oh well, It will pay the bills and I needed a little structure in my life anyway!

A lot of hours :( Not much time for CP :angry: More money for cigars :D

Yeah...........It was my goal for a long time and I finally got there about 10 years ago. If I can help you in any way, don't hesitate to ask.

When I feel better and get some time... I would really like the opportunity to ask a few questions... But for now... I can't.

So a consulting firm hired you to be their consultant for another company? ???

I was a consultant for about a year. Chemical adhesives and plastics. Pretty cool as I got to do some work related to the Joint Strike Fighter.

Make the most of it. Make the best of it. :)

Congrads Jeff! I've had a job before, they're over-rated, i prefer laying awake at night wondering how i'm going to solve the current problem i have ??? Wait, i want a job :laugh:
 
Wife called it self unemployed.

There are these guys that will, like, pay you every 2 weeks for work. It's a neat thing - health insurance, retirement. You just wouldn't believe it.

When I was a design engineer I told customers "a consultant is someone who borrows your watch, tells you what time it is, and sells you your watch back" Now I charge clients a shitload of money for such wisdom :D
