New digital camera! Now.......

software? I downloaded a couple of programs but haven't installed them yet, and would like folks opinions. I want something that will let me upload to a web page on my ISP (which is all it will be used for) so I can start putting some pics in here llke all you cool guys do. :laugh: :laugh:

Id say...buy a apple G5 and use iPhoto and .Mac!!!!

open office has a word program that does html i believe...are you looking for a site to host your photo's? if so, pm me , i can give you a few sites for that.

I use a Mac but my downloaded this for my wife to use on her computer. Made by Google. Give it a shot, may be what you are looking for. And it's FREE.

you can upload files using Internet Explorer, and for editing photos Photoshop Elements is pretty good. If you're also looking to create webpages, look into M$ Frontpage- super easy to use (esp. if you use other M$ products) and it too has a built in FTP program to upload/manage online files. All I use anymore for my website.

Mac's rule

I just got my .Mac acount up and running, along with Tiger.

The things I can now do basically seem limitless.

No problem. If I had to use a PC (which thank God I don't) I would use Picasa. Thankfully, I can use iPhoto and upload directly to my .Mac website. :thumbs:

Yep. :thumbs: I love 10.4 "Tiger". $99/year is a little steep for .Mac IMO but it has been worth it for the website and synching abilities. Plus, I love that I can use multiple email aliases (i.e. one for CP, one for friends and family, one for online purchasing). If any of them start to get too much spam I delete it and make a new one.
