'Member? C'mon you 'member!
There has been a lot of concern expressed recently by newer members over how things are done here on CP. There’s nothing wrong with this, IMO. Questions are asked for a reason and usually deserve an answer.
Unfortunately, getting asked the same questions and addressing the same concerns over and over have worn down some of the members who’ve been here awhile, myself included. As a result, we often fail to address concerns/questions in a manner that is completely satisfactory to the member raising the issue. This is certainly evident in some of the threads we’ve had lately.
Which brings me to my point…
If you haven’t read this yet, or if it’s been awhile since you’ve read it, “The Cigar Newbie BB Guide" is a great web site that deserves a visit. It was written by Eric Shaw, a member of CP. It clearly and simply answers many of the questions newer members have about “how and why things are done the way they are” on CP and other cigar bulletin boards. The section on “Protocol” is my personal favorite.
A thread, with a link is pinned to the top of the Lobby forum. Happy reading!
