I have studing up on cigars and have read about cigars blending with each others, I believe it was called marrying them. (i don't know I'm just a newbie) Well I have been looking at some of the humidors and the way they store their cigars. Some have very eligant display cases others have coolers and some have a small humidor with the cigars layed on top.

What do most feel here, does it matter if they touch?

I don't think there is anything wrong with things being naked and "touching" each other, especially when it comes to cigars and women.

There's nothing wrong with a little touching. Just make sure it doesn't get too rough in there or their "wrappers" might get torn off - and that could lead to marriage!

There's nothing wrong with storing different cigars with one another; however, you never want to store flavored cigars with non-flavored... Otherwise the once non-flavored will become flavored, and nobody wants that.

Agree with Razorback. No issues with storing 'gar together or next to each other. But if you're a flavored guy, then just to be safe you'll want to store those in their own area.

Wrappers on: no problems.

Wrappers off: no problems, unless you plan to store different cigars together for long periods of time (like for several years).

Flavored cigars with non-flavored: BIG PROBLEM, regardless of wrapped or nude. Expect all your Opus to taste like Moontrances in short order!

This begs the question, who is storing flavored cigars?

Not me. I can't keep 'em around long enough to store. I only store the crappy, just tobacco, non-infused junk to pass out to newbies who don't know any better.

Sometimes I tape a few together to make my own blends. My favorite thusfar has been the masterpiece I like to call JucyMusashiFingers. :p

On a less serious note, I think svillekid answered your question pretty well.

I always leave the wrappers on my cigars. They're pretty and smoke better this way.

However, I almost always remove the cellophane. ;)
