There was a time here when P&T mistakes were a rarity. Really! There was!
The difference now, I think, is that the participants are so careful to get the exact value of what they put in that they err on the side of profit.
A generalization that doesn't take into account the folks I've seen who revise what are OK P&Ts and err on the side of taking a loss.
When I first did passes I was overly generous simply to avoid making a mistake and generosity was a way of thanking the host for putting the thing together and working with it as it went along.

Now there are so many folks that are in it for there own enrichment that P&T gaffs are a near daily occurence. Everybody is trying to get away with something
That is patently untrue and a gross generalization. Taken literally it is a slap in the
face to all the current pass participants.
and Rod's new rule will help them accomplish that.
Personally, I think it will make the hosts take more responsibility in the supervision
of their pass. Plus, if a FOG thinks that an egregious mistake has been made, there's always PMs.
