Last night my wonderful girlfriend and her family threw a party for me to celebrate my upcoming 40th ( ??? ) birthday which is actually this Tuesday). I had a very wonderful time and allmost finished a bottle of Corazon Blanco by myself. Anyway, I capped of the evening with some cigars for me and some of my friends. I handed out a couple of Cohiba Siglo IIIs and one R&J Short Churchill to the small gathering of pals that wanted to join me. For myself I had a 1970's vintage H. Upman Sir Winston that ATuck was kind enough to contribute to the Vegas Herf auction. Yes, I was the lucky SOB that won this great cigar. I'm really not much for reviews but I will say this was the best tasting cigar I've ever had. The draw was perfect, the burn was perfect and the flavor was out of this world. I couldn't believe it kept a perfect burn even when I left it briefly to dance with my girlfriend. It was the perfect way to end a very wonderful evening. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures (I blame the tequilla for this). But here is a photo from the herf of Allan holding the cigar:

Thanks again to Allan for this great smoke.

Right on man. I have yet to smoke an antique and can't wait to. Congrats on the birthday also.

Happy early birthday Charlie had a great time at the Glendale Herf last week, thank you again for that great smoke you gifted me. I am going to wait for a special occasion to put it to the flame.
