I know from a health standpoint you should not smoke with dentures or a partial denture but do any of you do? I need to get a partial denture soon and don't plan on giving up cigars if I really don't have too.

Can you smoke with your dentures taken out?

That's what I was wondering. Especially, if you're at home or amongst friends, I wouldn't be self-conscious in that event, versus being in a brick and mortar smoking around people you don't really know that well. Can't see why that would be an issue at all.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. For the cigar smokers with dentures, have you noticed any serious gum or teeth issues because of the cigar smoke?

I have to get a partial denture within the next month or so and everything you read says, you should not smoke with dentures.

Since I have about 300 cigars currently in my Newair cooler, I'm a little stressed at the moment :)

My dental hygiene is fine thank you....I have a 6 tooth bridge and because of age I guess, two of the supporting teeth have fractured. So instead of going with implants which take many months to complete, I decided on a partial bridge.
