Talk about getting bad news...

Man Loren, that's not great news. What meds did they put you on? Did they do an EKG or a cardiac cath or something that leads them to think you're going to have an MI? As always, just curious. Hope you will be ok though.

Good luck to you. The good thing is that they found it early, as has been said.

My mom went through the same thing and she's much healthier now after going through all of the changes and taking her meds than she ever has been.

It's tough, but I'd say it's worth it.

I wish you the best... take care of yourself!

Hell, I'm guessing there are a few of us here that might be in the same boat. If not now, then eventually... :(

Just woke up after a 16 hour nap. These are some super knock out pills. Thanks for all the prayers. Yeah I plan on doing what they say because my mom had a double heart by pass when she was in her 40's which landed her in a wheel chair.
Just glad the weather is turning here to nicer weather cuz the Doc said to take some walks. Sounds like they are going to send me to a Nutritionist and a PT person as well. But this is the VA so it takes time.

The best of wishes to you from a Newbie to the board! Hopefully, the Doctor(s) will not suggest that you stop smoking cigars. A man has got to have at least one guilty pleasure in life. ;)

Good luck Bro...its not like it was years ago, there are some great treatments for cardiac problems, and they got to you before something serious happened. Hang in there.

Best wishes and warmest regards go out to you. Be good to yourself and stay well -- mind and body.

Eric

Just got the 3rd and final prescription. The one that makes ya paranoid for upto 4 days before those symptoms go away. Fun times ahead. :(
