The LEAF FUND

Well, I decided to save my $40 for something else. Are those guys on the brink of bankruptcy/going out of business or something?
 
If we had purchased $1000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, we would have $49.00 today.
If we had purchased $1000 of shares in AIG one year ago, we would have $33.00 today.
If we had purchased $1000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, we would have $0.00 today.
But---- if we had purchased $1000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, we would have received $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle.

They have not been compltely honest in the opening of many coffee houses in China. They have changed CEO's twice since we bought into the exagerated plans for growth. Plus... the coffee is medioakor at best. They have opened 1 coffee house in China ... but the location was poor and very generic. Plus... Chinese mainly drink tea!

The only positive stock we own is LVLT we are up $2 if we sold on the close on Friday! LOL!!!!

Sorry Michael, just saw this. Law firms are stacked like airliners over Atlanta with "class action" lawsuits representing "Level 3 shareholders". I picture them like corporate ambulance chasers. I'm a substantial holder of Level 3 stock and wouldn't piss on those lawyers if they were burning.

Ohhh Yeah Baby! Weez still got a hold of 200 shares. Up 20+ points


What did the best for us was SIRI though, up 22.25 and we own 1000 shares!

Portfolio went up over 16.5 points today!


Portfolio Value $1114.23 / 75 shares = Share value .... $14.8564 :thumbs:

At this rate... we'll be smokin' some stock market cigars by 2010! Good thing... cuz the world ends 2012!
