Well, apparently Vitasea is still at it, despite this apology and this mess too.

I keep getting emails from him despite telling him I would not be buying his product, and did not wish to receive solicitations... I wonder how many "clients" he is continuing to sell fake product to?

Well, I finally made it back after replacing the engine on my boat and weathering a storm on the return trip.
Everything in Havana is pretty much the same as before pres. Castro got sick.

The 9th annual cigar show was interesting with Cohibia introducing a new line the Maduro 5, I brought back for you to try. They are great.! They will be introduced to the distributors in several months, but we have them now!!

I may be returning in a couple of weeks so email or call Tina or Meron who will be available to fill your orders.

in case you do not realize but the sticks i sent you were the new cohibia maduro 5

you are the only one in the world out side cuba having the opportunity to smoke them. they have reg bands as the new bands when they go to the dist later this summer have an additional lower black with maduro 5 on them . they were un aviaible in cuba on my last trip

Funny how he mentions bringing back Cohiba Maduro 5's, considering this warning:

I was fortunate to acquire a few of these presentation boxes. There were approx 1000 of these made for the Festival and those attending. Very few of these 3 cigar presentation cases were left to leave the island. I am sure everyone has seen the merchant and his pictures at the beginning of my first post. His Pictures would lead you to beleive that Habanos, SA has started boxing in 10 & 25 count boxes. We all have our favorite merchants, that must remain nameless, but I want to share this e-mail I got from an up and comming (insert name) whatever. He sent me the following e-mail....

huh. I thought Vitasea had perhaps just sent me an email by mistake... but today arrived a package from him, of the purportedly "Cohiba Maduro 5s". They smell like farm rolls to me, not aged Cohiba tobacco.

Doug, if you're out there... take me off of your list. Seriously, don't waste the time or effort.

Indeed.... yet he is still claiming that they are Cohibas, and selling them at Cohiba prices.

I gave him somewhat of a break initially because I figured he just might not know what he's doing, and is being taken by folks on the Island. Now, though... I don't see how I can extend that courtesy.
