Can't remember if I posted this or not:
My ex-wife (wife at the time) was having our third child. She was born with no complications, thankfully, and mom was recovering as well. They were doing skin to skin time after the birth. The nurse came in to check on them and this is the conversation that occurred:
Nurse: "you have the prettiest baby mam"
Wife: "thank you, she is perfect"
Me: "wait, I bet you tell that to all parents that come through here"
Nurse: "nope, I don't tell everyone that when they have a baby. Yours' is a movie star baby"
Me: "so, what do you tell them? Cause I'm assuming you tell them something supportive"
Nurse: "I say, 'aww, your baby looks just like you'"
I fucking lost it when she said that lol.
