You can log into "My Controls" and block both avatars and signatures there, and that won't affect the ads we display.

I don't want to block them all. I like to see them as it gives a clue to the personality of the poster. There are some that I find to be in poor taste and some that I find to just be a bit over the line. I use AdBlock to block them as was suggested in a previous discussion about avatars and signatures several months ago.

If there's another way that I can do that and not block the ads, I would do it. I do see the ad for the CigarSwag store every once in awhile. Perhaps it's different than the others?

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything and I don't want people to change their pics because I don't care to see them. I'm just letting you know my situation. There may be others with similar concerns, but I don't know.
