So I was in a B&M today, not going to name any names though, and saw two beetles wandering about in the graycliff/high end camacho/davidoff glass display case. I told one of the guys about them and they pulled out those sticks that they were crawling on found htem, killed them, put the sticks back in, and went on their merry way. Now I know for a fact that these guys use beetle traps and that the beetles are more attracted to the pheromones the traps give off (sex) the the urge to eat. However, how can they be so calm about seeing beetles? Do the traps really work THAT well, and if so, why don't we all have them? Also, wouldn't there be the issue of finding out which cigar, and those around it, hatched these guys because wouldn't there be further eggs and larvae in those?
I understand that beetles are an issue you have no choice but to deal with in the industry, however, how can they afford to be so nonchalant about them?
Chime in ya'll, especially B&M owners. Being a beetle fearing man, I'd like to learn as much as I can about how I can become so nonchalant.
