What’s that status de lux. Never seen it before

It is an old Cuban brand - discontinued in 2005. This was a Brevas (machine made) from '98... still have a handful left in the box. Mostly hay and grassy flavors to me at this point.

H. Uphman Robusto Anjeados. Traded Dan @CgarDan for a bunch of these after he said he didn't care for them. Was surprised because I thought they were really good. I gifted a few to @CigarStone last weekend. He seemed to share my sentiment. Powerful and full of flavor. This one is no exception.

I just tried to smoke what I thought was going to be a really nice cigar but it was constructed so poorly I Huffed and puffed and got no smoke it burned unevenly and it was one dimensional for the little bit of smoke I got out of it. Total let down.

It's a letdown when that happens, did you follow it up with a good one?

I keep a casa cuba on standby to recover from a dud.

What was that Los Statos like? I've been on the hunt for one for a while, hard to come by.

Mainly hay and grassy flavors to me. Definitely on the mild side, but with enough flavor to give it some character imho.
