Latest in my tour of the Avo production line cigars. The Syncro Nicaragua box press toro. Nice smoke. Again, for me it comes down to a question of value.

Strength wise flavor neighborhood, this strikes me as an Oliva V Melanio competitor … and comes up wanting in the comparison. I enjoyed it. But the Melanio I enjoyed more, at a lower price point. But I’m looking for “box-worthy” sticks and the Melanio is up there (have a box and will do again), this one not so much. Good draw, some burn issues. If I could find it at Cigarbid for half the price I’d get some. Bit so far my only Avo box worthy smoke is the Syncro Nicaragua Fogata. Will buy that all day, every day.

Good smoke. Overpriced IMO.

This is a great stick. Smoked 2 now, and consistent. I get Lemon at first with a nutty earth, then transitions to sweet old popcorn. Pricey stick considering I've only seen boxes of 10. But if you can get um for a reasonable price do it if you like those flavors. Perfect construction just really enjoyable.

Beautiful night and outstanding smoke. Even if I only see planes dropping below the clouds.

OR ‘24 Partagas Maestra Maestro 5 1/4 X 56 - beautiful cigars and love the 109 style tapered head. Makes smoking these behemoth ring gauge sticks much nicer. Smoked the Origen a few months ago. Decidedly young but still quite nice. This Maestro presents coffee, leather and strong cedar notes. Very little complexity here. Full bodied smoke. Immaculate construction. Only level 9 rollers making these I imagine. Second half flavors soften a bit but flavors still steady with too much cedar for my taste. These need a lot more time. The bones are here for long aging for sure. Just over an hour of youth and big time aging potential.

Another in my Avo tour. The XO. Very nice cigar, solid medium, excellent construction and draw on this one, superb smoke.

Like the others though, it comes down to value for me, I like others as well for less $. So far the Syncro Nicaragua Fogata is the one I’d buy by the box. This one I might if I found a crazy cigarpage or falling price deal at cigarbid. Very nice cigar but not for me at MSRP. Depends on the deal I can find. Love this one, though.
