Today's Smoke 2025

Padron 1964 Robusto. Is it a great cigar? Emphatically, yes. Perfect construction, draw, and burn. Perfect. Padrons are know for being boringly reliable that way, though. Did I like it twice as much as a base line 2000 or 3000? I don’t think so. With a 2000 at about $8, a $3000 maybe a dollar more, and these at $16?? I doubt I will buy any more of them. I’ll finish my sampler and see if I change my mind. But I think this is a perfect illustration of the Law of Diminishing returns. I’ve had other $16 sticks I liked better. I’ll have to think on this one of the base line is 99% (or more) of the 1964 line at half the price? That’s how I see it.

Not complaining, though. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Prolly not buying more though.
