Today's Smoke 2026

Tatuaje Broadleaf J21 Reserva. Classic, great Tatuaje tastes. A classic, IMHO...

Edited to add...looks like the burn is taking off, but it promptly self corrected. Solid cigars, all the wsy.

Partagas Legend Toro Leyenda
4 mos rest, brick hard box press. Dry-boxed two days and draw-tooled. Was worried but it smoked great after some early touch-ups. Cedar, nice pepper spice, dry earth and cocoa powder. Very smooth and mild for the spice level. Nutty with leather and vanilla. Definitely the best General (NC) Partagas but the bar is low. Good smoke.

CAO Amazon Basin Dagger (Petite Corona)
Toasted wood, earth, black pepper and salt. Reminds me of BBQ but without the sugar. Pleasantly rough around the edges with a smoother retrohale. Nuts, pepper, dark toast and faint cocoa. Finishes with espresso, leather and more pepper. Medium/full. Well-constructed. A bold but smooth, unique smoke. The flavor profile is in the vein of the MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured sticks but without the overt BBQ/Slim Jim flavors and a bit more refined. Not my go-to profile but enjoyable for something different. The back story of canoeing part of the filler out of the Amazon is pretty cool too.
