La Aurora 120th Anniversary
Cedar and sharp white pepper. Sinuses cleared. Vanilla and dried fruit follow closely behind. Cool sweet aromatic draw with nice spice on retro. Cocoa, coffee and vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. Good stick.

I had one of those in a "rare fare" from CigarPage and enjoyed it so much I bought ten more the next time they were on a sale. A really good cigar and crazy value when you can get them for around four bucks on a deal

Agree - hadn’t smoked one in a while and enjoyed it. Would be even better in cooler weather.

The battle with the Beast is over, I WON!

Finally, no more credit cards no consumer loan and mortgage, I managed to pay them all off and now I have my own house and without any financial obligation to any bank. In the meantime, I faced many problems. Debt collection companies (which had political coverage at the time) that called you at any time and day they wanted, they arbitrarily called your parents, they even threatened your children. We had a Supervisor with a bad soul who deliberately and without reason treated us badly (irony, mockery, character degradation, threats, delay in paying overtime, etc.) while we also had the economic crisis in 2010 that worsened the situation. Promotions stopped, we had cuts in salaries and benefits, the tax (VAT) was increased to 24% and in general this whole situation caused me health problems. I had high tension, a lot of nerves, insomnia, trembling hands, increased blood pressure, cholesterol, uric acid and one day I went to the hospital with a mini-hear attack. Deep inside me I had the faith that God would not abandon me and relying on my own strength I worked, I was patient, I tried to pay my bills and keep my family together.
The situation with the inhuman Supervisor changed suddenly, although he had warnings from others he ignored them in a provocative way "I don't care since I'm on good terms with the Great One" (meaning the Politician) a guy appeared who was immune to threats, cleverness, and party affiliation and he put a complete stop to his behaviour in a second, his name was Charon.

The Supervisor changed and then everything started to run smoothly, working conditions improved, we were paid overtime on time, my health improved a little, I managed to pay the instalments regularly and even save a small amount. Then came the Corona virus, the quarantine and we all had a bad time here for 2 years but then our life returned to normal and I had the idea to repay the loan early. That way I would earn a lot of money from the interest and I would be more peaceful.

I saved as much money as I could, cut out everything unnecessary and every month I got closer to my goal. I got very close to the limit but I continued so that I would have some money on the side for a time of need, I didn't want to give it all to the bank and then have nothing. In between, I went on a diet, bought a treadmill and exercised 3 times a week, settled some pending matters (car-motorcycle repair/modifications etc) and the previous Tuesday I went to the bank to cashier. At first they brought me obstacles (delay for the bank means interest so it benefits them) but I was determined, I went back on Friday and made the deposit (the entire amount). On Saturday afternoon, the most important notification I've ever had came to my cell phone, "You no longer have any loan in our bank." All I have to do is get the official paper and from next month all my salary-overtime will be free of obligations to any bank! No more suffering of going to the ATM every month, no more stress and anxiety, I resisted as much as I could-I fought hard and I didn't lose my belongings (unfortunately other fellow countrymen here were destroyed, became homeless even committed suicide) so from now on I am now a "Free Man" without any obligations to the Evil Beast called "Bank".

Congrats Sid on your perseverance and newfound peace! May you enjoy in good health.

LADC Edition Especial Toro
Black pepper punch on light up replaced by white pepper after a few puffs. Vanilla, cream, caramel, dark chocolate, cedar, leather and coffee all show up in the first third. Burn and construction are Garcia-perfect. Remainder is mild spice and cedar with floral notes and occasional appearances by vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. Great start to a special day - Happy Father’s Day gents! To our dads, the memory of dads, and our families-may we lead them well.
