I don’t know anything about their casinos and perks related to that, but the last few cruises I’ve been on with a lounge, the lounges were all small, but with excellent ventilation. Despite posted signs saying no cigarette smoking allowed, they do seem to be a regular stop for some of that type of smoker. Usually it’s brief. The cigar smokers have been universally pleasant. They sell cigars, but bring your own, because they’re mostly Gurkhas. Drink service inside the lounge is spotty at best, but bars are right outside so you can zip out for a fresh old fashioned whenever you need to and be back before your cigar goes out.My daughter took one that had a lounge but she said I wouldn’t like it. Just wondered if it would be worth giving up significant perks and start over just for the lounge… thought I’d ask a cigar smokers opinion.
....got to wonder if it got a little harsh when you got into the label, but maybe I worry too much.....Foundation Aksum ( don't tell em).

Actually Tom it was all good for another inch. I take my puff, set it down to diddle with weather or other things; it goes out, I come back to it in 3-5 minutes, relight, puff again; so I don't think the tar and stuff got in the way. But I know what you mean, I just am a slow smoker.....got to wonder if it got a little harsh when you got into the label, but maybe I worry too much.....
All good, not like I haven't done that once or twice......

Thanks for the feedback. I havent been on ncl. They have a reputation for coming in at a good price then dinging you for lots of stuff once you get on. I will check them out as it doesnt look like princess has a ship in the Caribbean next summer.I don’t know anything about their casinos and perks related to that, but the last few cruises I’ve been on with a lounge, the lounges were all small, but with excellent ventilation. Really hard to find a seat in the deplorables section in the aft section on the cruise.
Lots of chain smoking rednecks. As an over educated recalcitrant redneck, I can swim in that pool but its been very frustrating to find a way to smoke a cigar.
