Yesterday I had a Tatuaje Cojonu 2003 while grilling out on the back deck. It was magically delicious and lives up to the reviews that have been posted on here. Thanks CP brothers and sisters for the great reviews.

This afternoon...

Tat Cojonu 2006
PAM 64 Exclusivo

Tonight...

Alec Bradley Tempest Magistri (these are good)
Not sure what's up after I eat my pizza. Possibles...
VSG Illusion, San Cristobal Clasico or maybe a FOX Power Ranger

Surgery's rapidly approaching...I've found myself smoking more lately. ???

SPIVY, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that Upmann No 2 vs a Monte No 2.

I'm just getting into the 2nd third of a San Cristobal Clasico. The guy at my local B&M (been buying there for 6 years) warned me that this was a full-bodied cigar when I bought it. He's watched me buy numerous Padrons and VSGs from his place over the years, and I'm beginning to find out why he mentioned this....excellent so far. Like VERY excellent. These might have to go into rotation.

This afternoon I smoked a LFD Habano Corona while enjoying the nice KC weather. Ya know... Litto knows how to make a great cigar!

Whoo! What a day!

Started the day off (in the afternoon :)) with a Cabaiguan Robusto. Followed that up with an H. Uppman Vintage Cameroon Toro, and rounded out the night with an Oliva Serie 'V' Belicoso.

Nice little Nestor Reserve maddie rothchilde with my coffee this morning. Great maduro with some good coffee-esque flavor and a black-liquorish finish. Recommended!

Followed by a Punch elite maduro for the sunny afternoon. Nice flavor with a touch of spice on the tip of the tongue!

SPIVY, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that Upmann No 2 vs a Monte No 2.

Actually I had a Monte No. 2 at the casino on friday so it is still fresh in my mind. The H Upmann had a little bit a a sweetness to it with a hint of grassyness. The Monte has a little bit more spice to it. Both stellar smokes. I really liked the Upmann. I think it would be great with some age. I am going to have to find a box of 02/03

The warmer weather and longer days have caused the humi lid to fly open much more often. Last night I enjoyed a gifted SCDLH El Principe which was an excellent little smoke. Planning to make this one a mainstay in the humidor.

While watching my son play at the park, I enjoyed two fine cigars: La Flor Dominicana DL Chiselito and Romeo y Julieta Aniversario Robusto. Some times, being unemployed is okay!
