Today's Smoke

I haven't posted in here in a while so I'd figure its time to catch up.

Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Maduro(1 year of rest) was excellent.

Anejo# 46 with a couple years on it. These are my favorite hands down but I forgot that I shouldn't smoke this stick on an empty stomach at 9:15 in the morning waiting to tee off. Let's just say it drastically affected my game.... for the worse.

I smoked a few cigars over the weekend, let me see what I can recall.

San Cristobal Guajiro - still not my cup of tea. I may have a couple of these left from the random singles I bought to try when they came out. I haven't been too keen on any of them.

Padron 3000 maduro - delicious, as always.

PAN torpedo - very good for a change of pace cigar, but I still like the maduros better.

CAO Italia robusto - OK, but not anything I'll seek out more of. Fairly bland, generic tobacco taste, perhaps a bit of sweetness.

Cabaiguan Guapo 46 - outstanding! Rich, medium bodied smoke, wonderfully spicy up front, a joy to smoke. Definitely a box purchase when I have some room for it.

I did. Shoulda put that in the post, eh? I received them from a very generous BOTL here as wedding smokes, so I smoked the Petit Piramide before the wedding, and the Sublime after. The bride also had a cigar roller at the reception so I smoked one of his during.

Sounds like she's a keeper!

Took a mental health day off from work today. It's not easy working with addicts all day long everyday. Started the day off after breakfast with PSD#4 that is one of my favorites and followed that up with a Cohiba Sublime EL 04 that was exceptional first ever and hopefully not my last. Thanks B

Smoking a padron maduro damn good cigar with nice spice to it. I should pay more attention to the numbers on the cigar. Wish I knew what number it was!

Yesterday I had a Montecristo #5 with my friend after dinner. They need to age, and they pack a punch for their size, but I like them a lot.

Yesterday had a Monte 2 while drinking a Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. Great Combo BTW.

This afternoon smoked a Cohiba Reserva Piramide and wasn't that impressed. :(
