P.S. Why would you want to pre-cut them anyway? Isn't it just as easy to bring along a cutter when you travel?

...not sure what the 'official' position is on this but we just went / returned from Vegas. I packed a cutter and matches in our checked baggage, and on the return trip, my wife had bought several butane lighters and they went into the checked baggage as well (which I know for sure got x-rayed...saw them do it). No issues going or coming..PTownshend said:I've often pre-cut before getting on a plane. I think with this post 9/11 society we live in, lighters and cutters would be frowned upon. I think things may have changed, but can't be sure as I've not been on a trip with cigars in a long while.
Anyone know the status on this?
