Gentlemen and ladies,
I recently hit two big milestones, 2 years and 6,000 posts. In fact, I think I hit both marks on the day of my anniversary. I didn't get to commemorate the event on the day but now I would like to propose a two part celebration. :thumbs:
First I'd like to invite all my friends and associates to join me in a round-the world virtual herf in the CigarPass Chatroom this coming Thursday, October 11th starting 7:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time. If you can stay and smoke while chatting, that'd be great. If not, please do stop in and say hi.
Now, I will be noting everyone who drops in the chatroom that night between 7:00 - 8:00 PM. When you log in, make sure I take your name. At the conclusion of the chat session, I will randomly draw a name from the list of qualifying attendees and the lucky member will win a box of cigars that I have set aside specially for this event. The qualification requirement for the drawing is that you have 3 months AND 100 posts. Anyone is invited to attend the chat though.
Second I'm not leaving the new guys out...just making it a little harder on you.
If you do not meet the requirements for the above drawing, then your challenge is to write me a cigar-related Haiku. This contest is open NOW and will run through 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 11th. So, when the virtual-herf is done, so is the haiku contest. I will choose the haiku that I find most amusing, poignant, topical, etc. and the winner will get a very nice prize package
