That should make you feel "happy" that it's not your van. Or are you "unhappy" that you let your van get this way?

I really wanted to get up closer and look in the windows but I thought that might be inappropriate, and possibly start an ugly confrontation.

I'm happy that it's not my van, I am unhappy that I didn't get to witness the person getting in or out.

The cheap wall clock at my office died recently so I ordered a slightly more expensive (but still relatively cheap) Bulova clock, thinking that a decent name brand product would be better than whatever junk Walmart sells. As I was talking to my assistant the other day I glanced up and saw this.

Canceled my vacation that was supposed to start next week. Old dog not doing well, a/c in the new vehicle needs repaired and wife has health issues. Last time I took vacation days we were struck by lightning. If there is a greater power out there, it's pissed!

Ug was at a B&M and lounge to kill some time the other day and both humidifiers were set at 76. WTF? I didn't say anything because Im not that kinda dude.

They are a bit of a chain here and prices are ok and dont charge $ to use the lounge like this one place does, but GD.

The manager of the one close said he would work out a cut fee to bring my own so they are a pretty good place as far as that goes.

This is why EVERYTHING thats lands here gets a rest.

Yeah I got the "its plume" at one of their shops. Padron 26 IIRC. Prob got a pic somewhere on my phone.

I guess the worst part is they rent lockers. And guess what your sticks there are stored at...

I think I brought it up to @Ralph when he was looking at getting a locker a few months ago.

It is probably set high to offset the drying that the air filter/cleaners do inside the shop. My best guess.

Right, you did mention that. I am lucky that the lockers are in a closed humidified room that is separate from the seating areas. I brought in a Govee a few months ago and left it and it read fine (68 if I remember right) when I came back. The real test is that I’ve had a box of MF Blue in my locker since February. I had one a few weeks ago and they are still in great shape.

Well I haven't smoked any cigars since last Friday, and won't be for another little while. I apparently had a crack in a previously filled tooth, and it became infected.

If you've never had a tooth infection consider yourself lucky. Holy hell. I had a bottle of Oxy that I was prescribed after a knee surgery some years back, but I never took any so I just kept the bottle in my gun safe "in case of emergency." This qualified, and after a few days of it not improving it got so bad I dug that bottle out and started popping pills.

I was finally able to get in and have the tooth pulled yesterday. Good riddance! It was the very back molar on the bottom right, so we're just going to see how I do without it for a while, and can look into an implant if necessary in the future at some point. So far the pain is minor, especially compared to the infection, and is mostly a little ache in the jaw and a persistent mild headache. I've been eating toast soaked in beef broth, protein shakes, and I made a plantain porridge this afternoon that was interesting.

I recall now my dad telling me that his dad had most of his molars removed over the years and the only issue was that it made him a slow eater because chewing took longer. So hopefully I'll be just fine without it. No matter what, though, I'm better than I was with it!

About a hundred years ago, my back molars were pulled. I have lived decades without them. Takes a smidge of getting used to at first, but nothing hard or bad about it. Just take care of the remaining teeth.

That said. 3 years ago, the next tooth up on the one side, the crown (or whatever you call the pointier part) broke. Didnt hurt, so I didnt worry about it. december last year, it started to hurt. Went to the dentist, and they said a crown would fix it. Ok. Did that. hurt worse. Come to find out that the root of said tooth, was broken. (nope, dont know how)

So I went the implant route. So far, two 'surgeries', (yes, I chose to get knocked completely out. Broken bones, bruises, tendon/ligament tears, I can handle. But mouth pain? Nope.) Anyway, getting it done was whatever. Pain went away. Waiting for the 3 to 4 months between the removal, and the implant base, and now the 3 to 4 months before the final 'tooth' is put in....

Monumentally annoying.

Well, that, and the roughly 2k part that my relatively decent insurance doesnt cover.

Personally, I wont do it again, unless...and then its a maybe.....is if its a front tooth.

Wow guys. I am not a tooth brushing nazi but I do go to the dentist every 6 months religiously and dont do sweets. Having bad shit going on your mouth is about the worst. Ive seen guys suffer thru some stuff. I do yell at the boy to do better but at this point he may have to learn the hard way.
