You cannot ask a honest question or seek clarification of current events on social media these days without someone or multiple people thinking you are condescending and anti whatever the subject is. America is fucked. Civil war is coming.

People have forgotten how to disagree. Used to be, we don't agree on xxx. Now, you're filth, deranged, etc. Frustrating, at least. The folks i keep close can have a discussion, but by and large... reasonable discussion is gone. I don't have the answer.

It certainly can’t happen over the internet. I spent significant time trying to phrase my question and explain why I was asking and the amount of uncivil responses was astounding. In a way, it made me callused to the issue and actually anti of the topic.
