Vacation time!

No vacation for us either. We only go about every 3 years anyway and this is our off year. Plus I'm saving my vacation time (our company lets us cash in 1/2 of it every year...I'm a consultant and the more "billable" hours I put in, the better they like it) for a special present for my son when he graduates from college next year.

My wife and I will sneak away for a long weekend here and there, but no formal family vacation.

We are going to the Outer Banks again this year.
We love that place. Very relaxed and not too crowded.

I'll skip the comments on you at hedonism... but if you even thinking of hitting Outlaw in May for the Padron event.. you BETTER show up, dammit!

And I don't see Alaska on that list :angry:
 
Went to Arkansas for a week and then Canada for a week ( duck hunting). Took the wife and kids to Disney World for a week last month. Will wrap vactions for the year up with a small trip, just me and the wife, to Savannah, GA . Stay at a little B & B and just relax for a few days.
 
Debauchery

Going solo to Buenos Aires on the 18th. I met some off-shored workers from my company who came up to DC for training over the past year, and have decided to take vacation on their insistence. I haven't told my work where I'm going...just said "South America". I'm staying at a buddy's apartment, and going to do whatever I want, whenever I want.

I'm also going to Europe in the summer, contingent on my safe return from Buenos Aires. However, other than Geneva (business) - I am not sure if I will be visiting anywhere else. Prague is my next European target.

I also go to NYC every 2 months or so for a weekend to smoke and drink with college buddies. Went there last week.

Some people say my life is a vacation...

Well I'm going to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday on a cruise to Mexico this month. Got to stock up on the glasstop Esplendidos you know! Going to herf with the CigarPass bunch in June, then going to SLC hopefully I'll get to herf with Sheriff Lucas and whoever else is there. Will be going to Wildwood in NJ, for 4 days sun and golf . Then I plan on going to the DR later in September and Europe for December haven't dsecided if it will be Italy or Spain. Other than that I'm not doing much for vacation this year. Did I mention all those places I will be smoking?
 
We head to Emerald Isle every year...awesome choice. Quite slower than the Outer Banks. This year our rental is in Pine Knoll Shores. Heading there the week leading into the 4th of July.
