May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

I have some great memories from my trips to Sturgis and have had some great photo opportunities. Here are just a few that are electronic from the trip my brother (Cody) and I took in 2004.

Here we are w/ my Mom getting ready make the final leg of the journey to Sturgis.
med_gallery_1983_187_265749.jpg

Riding into Hewlett, WY for "No Panty Wednesday". My brother is on the left taking a picture.

med_gallery_1983_187_18434.jpg

Hewlett is a small town of about 450 people for most of the year, but is over run w/ roughly 35,000 bikers a day during Sturgis. During Sturgis, the High School has it's biggest fund raiser by allowing bikes to park on their asphalt and grass. The whole town seems to get into it one way or another. They offer up a pig roast and free pork sandwiches for anyone who is willing to wait in line.

med_gallery_1983_187_68541.jpg

Here is "the Barrel Bike". It actually runs. LOL.

Nice confederate flag paint job:

Someone loves the Dukes of Hazzard!

med_gallery_1983_187_301846.jpg

Here are some interesting bikes that I saw in Sturgis. Sturgis has a population of about 10,000 year round. During Sturgis in 2004 attendance was over 515,000 people; 514,9xx people signed the guest book. They block off the downtown area in about a 6 block radius to bike traffic only. Here is a pic from one of the towers setup to see main street.

The Buffalo Man ... remember, this is during the first weekend of August. He has got to be sweating bullets!

med_gallery_1983_187_304625.jpg

Here is the Hard Rock Cafe chopper:

med_gallery_1983_187_199894.jpg

Here is the Camel chopper. Stopping by the Camel tent is a Huge must for all types of eye candy.

med_gallery_1983_187_192254.jpg

Cory Ness, Arlan Ness' son, was also there.

med_gallery_1983_187_251099.jpg

This was the first year that the V-Rod came out. At Sturgis was the first place I saw any with a custom paint job. I really liked this one.

med_gallery_1983_187_487564.jpg

Just a cool Chopper.

med_gallery_1983_187_376724.jpg

A true classic w/ a sidecar. And it is getting used!!

med_gallery_1983_187_239678.jpg

I'm pretty sure that MattR was at Sturgis this year, because I swear this is his bike. (notice the passenger)

med_gallery_1983_187_80530.jpg

Here is Jay on his Borget Bike Works Black Jack. I actually took this picture because I liked the bike and didn't even realize it was Jay until after I got back and started going through the pictures. LOL.

My brother had absolutely no problem going up to any woman in Sturgis and asking to get his picture taken with her. Here are some good ones.

The OCC Trim Spa chopper w/ the Trim Spa girls.

med_gallery_1983_187_249383.jpg

Another cool chopper and nice lookin lady. No, it isn't her bike, and he did ask her boyfriend before he asked her for the picture.

med_gallery_1983_187_367498.jpg

Here is a picture of the Honda Rune, also the first year that it came out and the first time I got to see one up close and personal. These ladies were a hoot and really getting into it. The boyfriend was getting a little perturbed at this point but didn't shut down our fun until a much more revealing shot took place (not posted).

med_gallery_1983_187_368545.jpg

These ladies were having fun too. They thought it was only fair that if he got a picture of their backsides that they ought to have a little fun too.

med_gallery_1983_187_336735.jpg

Ok .. no more bikes for a bit. These are for you Grateful1. This is one of the wait staff at The Full Throttle during Lingerie night.

med_gallery_1983_187_240744.jpg

You got to love it when the boyfriend helps out!!!

med_gallery_1983_187_254096.jpg

We had a lot of fun that night. LOL!

NSFW

We caught a Wet-T shirt contest in Deadwood.

NSFW

The wait staff at One Eyed Jacks. That has to be my favorite bar down there by far.

med_gallery_1983_187_13334.jpg

She put my hand there ... I swear!!! And then surprised me a little too.

med_gallery_1983_187_252746.jpg

Ok ... back to the bikes.

This is a SD themed bike. On one side is Mt. Rushmore and on the other is Crazy Horse (if I remember correctly).

med_gallery_1983_187_321008.jpg

Marylin Monroe tribute chopper.

med_gallery_1983_187_392636.jpg

Custom by Choppers Inc. being shown at The Full Throttle. The smoke blurring the pic is from the burnout pits. I saw some really nice bikes trash tires and fenders all for a little smoke. Crazy.

med_gallery_1983_187_304065.jpg

Borget makes the baddest chopper out there IMO, and Dino has to be my favorite painter. One technique he does that I really love is to paint in the clear coat layer (at least that is how it was explained to me). From a distance, this bike looks red, up close you can see the skulls. The best one I saw was with blue, and no matter how many pictures I tried, I couldn't get the camera to pick out the images that I could see with my eyes.

gallery_1983_187_474224.jpg

Another BBW w/ a American Flag theme.

med_gallery_1983_187_55385.jpg

Thanks for the contest Devin! It was a lot of fun looking back through some of these pics. I hope some of you liked them too.

Oh sure....blame the bikeless pictures on me... :D

Very nice!

Looks like I'll have to break out my Daytona pic's! :whistling:

This is Xena..... met her at Hedonism a couple of years back. She's no more than 95 lb's drippin' wet if you take away her t*ts.... they are each as big as a #4 soccer ball.

Here's a non motorcycle related picture of her in some body paint.

Gentlemen,

It's a sad day for me today. :( It's kinda like losin' a family member, but it was for the best! I've finally let the "box" go. UPS has it and it's on its' way to Bill in WV. (tracking number: 1Z470X280321982883) I've received approval for the below listed puts/takes, so out it went. I ain't sure how the other fellas felt, but lookin' over the contents of this pass, it's hell tryin' to make up your mind on what you want. Then, you have to see what you have to make up for what you want. True misery I tell ya!!! :whistling: Anyway, here's what the damage is.

Takes:
#25: E.L. RyJ Ex. #2
#26: Monte "A" from 1980
#73: Cohiba "A"
#82: Mysterious Perfecto 50

Puts:
#83: Hoyo E.L. 2003 Pyramide
#84: Cohiba Mill. Pyramide E.L. 2000
#85: Bolivar Gold Medal from 2004
#86: Cohiba E.L. 2003 Double Corona
#87: Monte E.L. 2001 (D.C. size)
#88: Diplo. #2 from 2001

I know #84 and #85 are already in the pass, however, they are good sticks if anyone wants to try 'em! Damn, if only I had a few better sticks to add. That Dunhill Estupendo was screamin' my name!!! :whistling:

Devin, thanks for includin' me in this. And fellas, thanks for bein' patient. Enjoy!

Certainly not a winner but I thought I was cool. With the exception of the kick stand, this bike is made entirely of balloons.
