A little while back, I posted an IPA I tried a couple of weeks ago, Beer Lasers from Hidden Springs Ale Works. Interesting thing that happened. With the first 4pk, each one I opened gushed out like I had shaked it right before opening. However, they were sitting comfortable for a day or two before. Then a few days ago I bought another 4 pk and two of the 4 did the same. Last night I got another 4 pk and this time, none exploded but came out a little bit over the top and on my counter.
What's up with this?
Could the brewer have added too much priming sugar? They all came from the same store and in the last month.
If it's a real small brewer i guess it's possible, but priming sugar is mostly used by home brewers. Commercial brewers use Kraeusening or forced carbonation.
